Impulse Ensemble live video: Here is the new video of Impulse Ensemble featuring Tony Vacca (balafon, percussion, spoken word), Jim Matus (laoutar, vocals) and Derrik Jordan (electric violin, percussion, vocals). From our performance on October 30, 2009 at the Northampton Center For The Arts.
"Floating Ice World": This video by Robert A. Jonas (aka Jonas) uses the first movement of "Sky Mirror" called "Floating Clouds" as the score. Beautiful images of winter in New England. Enjoy!
"Something's Gonna Change" on YouTube: Here's a video that features my song "Something's Gonna Change" from the CD "Touch The Earth." The video was done by Emily Peyton and Peace Through Music in Putney, VT and contains footage of people holding signs at a protest rally. Democracy in action.

Bands and musicians

Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams: A very, very cool band! check 'em out! Cool people. Great songs. Extremely Slambovian.
Erik Lawrence: One of my favorite musicians to work with. A brilliant flutist and sax player. He plays on Brazilliance and SuperString Theory Goes to Senegal.
Todd Royce: Guitar slinger extraordinaire, songwriter and singer. Check out his CDs, "Step Into The Light" and "Waiting For You."
Tom "T-Bone" Wolk: Producer, bassist to the stars (Shawn Colvin, Carly Simon, Hall & Oates, Saturday Night Live Band) and multi-instrumentalist. He co-produced "Expecting A Miracle" and plays all over it. Also played on Touch The Earth.
Lorraine Ferro: She's one of my favorite singers and a great songwriter, too. Check out her CD, "Languishing In Turbulence" and you'll see why!
Brian Hobbs: A great songwriter ("Just Another No News Day" and "I Knew You When" from Expecting A Miracle) and producer living in Sweden.
Aurora Music Productions: Booking music for weddings and special events in northern New England. Run by Jared Shapiro, cellist for Natural History
The Stockwell Brothers Band: Bluegrass, newgrass and more. They've toured Europe and the west coast of the USA but they always come back to Putney, VT. They have recorded Derrik's songs "Love To Spare," "Peace" and "All Around The World."
Sue Maskaleris: An old friend and a very cool Brazilian jazz recording artist, composer, piano player and violinist.
Amelia's Dream: Another great NYC band with some great CD's. Listen to the music!

Jill Hoy: She's one of my favorite artists and did the painting for the front cover of "Touch The Earth" and the back cover of "Expecting A Miracle."
Maura Holden: Fantastic, surrealistic, psychedelic, visionary art. She did the cover to "SuperString Theory - Exotic Duets and Improvisations."
Marcio Melo: A figurative artist living in Canada, originally from Brazil. Did the cover to "Brazilliance." Site contains paintings, discussion of censorship and the creative process.
