Derrik Jordan: Music

I wanted to record an improvised duet with Barou Sall using hoddu and violin so when were were together at Baaba Maal's studio in Dakar one day I got my chance. Barou starts out with a riff and I play along. I took this duet and brought it back to Vermont and added more instruments. "Nyo Ko Bok" commonly means "You're welcome" but literally means "We share it."
